Pattern: Counterpane Carpet Bag from Handknit Holidays
Yarn: Noro #95, 4 skeins
Needles: US 10 Clover bamboo straights
Started: January 2007
Finished: Knitting finished in May 2007 - finally got handles in August 2007
Woohoo. It is done! One of my packages came today with the handles for the bag, so I can finally cross it off of my list. Now I just need to get decent photos!
For some reason I have been in a retail therapy stage lately - but I am feeling less guilty since I managed to secure my “yarn paycheck” earlier today by getting a new job. I start next week!
Yesterday I ended up ordering the Total Tote, from Joann’s in Chocolate. A few other places carry it, but with the 50% off coupon, it is such a steal! This will be my new everyday knitting bag. Farrah from Ravelry posted pictures of her bag here on Flickr.
My package today was missing two fat quarters of Amy Butler fabric that I ordered, hoping to get that sorted out tomorrow - as well as pictures of what I got. I’m still waiting on a few other things to be delivered, mail can be so exciting, right? School is keeping me pretty busy, but I am slowly keeping up with that and managing to make progress in crafting/knitting at the same time.
Though this sleep thing I hear about is pretty illusive. Hmm.

I love it! That colorway is perfect.
Love the way that colorway worked with that pattern. It’s on my ‘to knit’ list…
